Sophie Monk is starring alongside Winona Ryder and Simon Baker in the upcoming film “Sex and Death 101,” and according to director Daniel Waters, Aussie babes are much more inclined to on-screen nudity than American chicks.

Waters told FOX Pop Tarts, “I cast Americans and they’re always like, ‘Yeah, we like sex,’ but then they start to question everything, so I like casting Australians because they like going naked.”

LOS ANGELES - Chris Rock testified at a private eye’s racketeering trial Friday that he hired the man to investigate a model who demanded money after claiming she was pregnant with his baby, and who later accused him of sexual assault.

Outlandish and animated on stage, the 43-year-old comedian looked uncomfortable and spoke in hushed tones as attorneys asked him about his connection to Anthony Pellicano.

Pellicano and four other co-defendants have pleaded not guilty to using wiretaps and other tactics to dig up dirt to help clients in legal and other disputes. Whitney Houston has responded to accusations that appear in her ex-husband’s new tell-all book, “Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But.” In one chapter, Bobby claims that it was Whitney who introduced him to cocaine, and not the other way around as people have long suspected.

Ben Stiller has signed on to produce  in The Return of King Dougand and will probably act in the movie too.

His production co. Red Hour Productions has snapped up the film rights to the upcoming graphic novel by Greg Erb and Jason Oremland, “King” centers on a man who must return to the fantasy world which he abandoned 30 years earlier. Erb and Oremland will  write the screenplay.

If and when the flick is ready, it will be  distributed  by Dreamworks.

Thomas Haden Church has signed on to star alongside Kate Hudson in Big Eyes.

Kate Hudson will play Keane, the painter whose distinctive creations featuring big-eyed children became one of art’s first mass-market success stories in the 1950s. The drama covers Keane’s personal awakening at the onset of the feminist movement, leading to a lawsuit she filed against her husband, Walter (Haden Church), who claimed credit for her works. He lived the high life while she toiled in relative anonymity in the Bay Area.
