Jeyam Ravi will be seen as a forest officer in his next film titled “Peraanmai,” which is being directed by “Jananathan.” The actor has five heroines opposite him. Akshaya of “kalaba Kaadhalan” fame was also roped in as one of the heroines, but she has now decided to opt out of the movie. Sources say that Akshaya decided not to do the film as  she was asked not to sign any other film until “Peraanmai” is complete which will go on for another eight months. When contacted Akshaya admitted director’s condition did not suit her and hence she opted out. “Currently, I am in the last schedule of shooting for “Uliyin Osai. The Peraanmai guys wanted dates immediately, which was not possible. Also talks are going on for a Tamil film with Vikranth and Telugu film. So,  I thought it does not make sense to block my dates for the next eight months,” she said.
