It seems Priyanka Chopra is taking an Aamir Khan route.

Just like the Ace Khan, she too is having sparse releases now with her

last major film to have hit the single screen being SALAAM-E-ISHQ.

The film, in which Priyanka actually drew quite some flak for her over

the top performance, came way back in January 2007. Three months

later she was seen again in her long delayed BIG BROTHER but it was

Sunny Deol show all the way.

Now after some hiatus, Priyanka would be seen in LOVE STORY

2050 where she is paired with her ‘best friend’ Harman Baweja. This

Harry Baweja launch for his son is all set for a 4th July arrival which

makes it a year and a half long wait for Priyanka’s fans. A sci-fil film

with loads of special effects and CGI, LOVE STORY 2050 travels

across time and reaches its pinnacle in the year 2050.

However, it would be a busy 2008 for Priyanka from here on with

multiple films in the pipeline. After LOVE STORY 2050, she would

also be seen in her long delayed project GOD TUSSI GREAT HO

where she is paired with Salman Khan. This would be followed by

DRONA which again has been delayed by a few months but is

nevertheless much keenly anticipated. Her pairing with Abhishek

Bachchan in this yet another special effect laden action drama is

expected to throw in a few surprises.

Last but not the least, Priyanka would be seen in a film which perhaps

can be considered as her career’s most challenging assignment ever.

The film is Madhur Bhandarkar’s FASHION which has her featuring in

an author backed role.

As per Madhur Bhandarkar, “Priyanka has excelled in the role and

would yet again give a solid account of herself as an actor. No, I am

not surprised because I always believed that she had it in her to make

heads turn not just with her beauty but also her performance.
