No, Katrina Kaif hasn’t replaced Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in any movie, but she has replaced former Miss World in the cyber world. There was a time when Ash was the most searched and her pictures the most downloaded. Now, as per the latest reports, Katrina is the latest Bollywood star with maximum number of downloads and searches, which are far more than Aishwarya.

On the male segment, SRK still rules the roost with the most numbers of downloads to his credit.

Last year’s surprise hit Bheja Fry will soon have its sequel. Sagar Ballary the director is planning to not only direct but produce it too. The sequel is tentatively titled Bharat Bhushan Ki Kahani (Bharat Bhushan is the name of the character played by Vinay Pathak). The sequel is being made at a bigger budget than the original. Bheja Fry was made on a shoestring budget of 60 lakhs and did business of around 12 Crores, while BBKK will be made on a budget of 6-7 crores.

The cast of the sequel will remain more or less the same with Vinay Pathak in title role supported by Ranvir Shorey and Rajat Kapoor. Ballary also has a three-film deal with Sahara.

The latest buzz in tinsel land is that Wizcraft may sue Bipasha Basu for walking out from their Bachchan’s Unforgettable Tour. Bips signed on for the tour before the release of Race and after the success of the film, she started acting pricy. She hiked her price post the success of Race, even though she had signed the contract for a lower one.

The tour will kick off after August of this year. Hopefully the matter can be settled amicably before then.

Bollywood’s hot bomb Mallika Sherawat creates a flutter in Tamilnadu. Her dare bare attitude didn’t go well with the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) which has been targeting film heroines.  Earlier HMK hauled Shriya attending a film function in skimpy skirt. Now, it is targeted Mallika Sherawat whose “provocative” style of dressing at the Dasavatharam audio launch is now the bone of contention. HMK wants the police to take action against Mallika.

Mallika has done a cameo in Kamal’s Dasavatharam and she hardly cares for such demands. She is the original sex bomb in India and she is more popular for her revealing clothes than anything else.
