Mumbai, May 18: Imagine the petite actress Dia Mirza wielding a gun and terrorising everybody. She is doing exactly that in one of White Feather Films` under-production movies, menacingly titled `Acid Factory`.

Early this month, when White Feather Films` big boss, Sanjay Gupta, announced the movie, he said it was about seven baddies, played by Danny Denzongpa, Fardeen Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Irrfan Khan, Aftab Shivdassani, Dino Morea and Gulshan Grover, who go on a rampage.

But, at that time, he chose to keep everybody guessing as to who would play the leading lady. Knowing that female characters generally play the least part in Gupta`s movies, it was speculated that `Acid Factory,` perhaps, would have no known actress to add spice to the mayhem the seven baddies would indulge in.

So, it was quite revealing when at the media briefing on Geetanjali Lifestyle`s association with `Acid Factory` here Saturday, Gupta unveiled a life-size photograph of a Raquel Welchesque Dia Mirza. `This is Max, the lone and deadly girl in the movie,` he said. Later, Dia told the mediapersons: `I was fed up of playing goody-goody girl-next-door-type roles in all my starrers. So, when Sanjay Gupta offered me a role the like of which I have never played before, I decided to challenge myself.` But will she be able to pull it through? `I will give (it) my best shot,` pat came her reply.

Although Fardeen Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Aftab Shivdassani and Irrfan Khan spoke about `Acid Factory`, they revealed little about their roles `because of contractual obligations`. `Acid Factory`, the shooting for which is now in progress at Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad, will be showcased in the forthcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) extravaganza in Bangkok, said Wiz Sabbas Joseph, director, Wizcraft International Ent Pvt Ltd, the organizer of IIFA

Mumbai, May 18: We have seen Hrithik flex his muscles in `Jodhaa Akbar` and now get ready to see more of his ?wow? six pack abs. The latest buzz in the tinsel-town is that Hrithik Roshan is all set to come down to the bare minimum by posing for an undergarments` brand.

Till now we have seen Hrithik as a gentleman, trying to woo the leading ladies of Bollywood. But guess, Hrithik has decided to venture out of the safe grounds and go ahead with a sizzling ad campaign.

Hrithik is the brand ambassador for Macro Man and has been approached by the same brand for this new ad. So ladies, get set to drop your jaws!

If you think Aamir is the only actor who loves to be a ghost director of all his films then think again. Well there’s one more actor who has joined this bandwagon. Randeep Hooda loves to give his inputs to his directors. If you think he is interfering then he will correct you by calling it an interpretation and not interference.

Randeep informs that he discusses his films with his director at least for two months before he actually starts shooting it. He says, “I give my inputs to all my directors and if a director cannot take my inputs I don’t work with them. If a director is not open to suggestions I think he is not a director at all because the director is a secondary artist at the end of the day. He doesn’t actually act or shoot or give music. These are done by some primary artists who gives their best and not impose their stupid ideas for a project. I don’t want to work with the director who is not interactive. I am not a puppet I am an actor.”

Apparently Randeep is going the Aamir way, so is there a plan to go behind the camera? “Well, I don’t know, may be I want to explore myself as an actor, learn more and be more comfortable. I think being a director is an extension of it. But it’s not something that I dream about. I am an assistant director out of no choice but to understand the director.”

Have you lost any film because of this? “No it hasn’t happened with me before. I never left any film but I almost gave Chakri (J D Chakravarthy)during the making of Darna Jaroori Hai. I was given a job by Ramu and he was supposed to direct it. He was enacting the role and wanted me to act exactly the way he was acting but I said it was practically not possibly for me to act in the same way like he did. I told Chakri that you are a very bad actor and I can’t act as badly as you. He is the one with whom I had a problem and sure enough, he turned out be a very shitty director. He doesn’t know his work. That’s why he was trying to impose out of insecurity. Like with Ketan I would sit and discuss the shot and if he likes it, he will take it and if he doesn’t then he will say no. Ketan is open to suggestion.”

Does that mean no more films with him and RGV? “I don’t know but I really respect RGV as a good technician. I like him as a human being. He has got his own faults but that’s his problem not mine.” He signs off.

Rajpal Yadav who is known for making the audiences laugh their guts out, faces a huge challenge this time. He will be seen wrestling the seven foot tall international wrestler Khali (Daljeet Singh Rana) in his upcoming film Kushti , being directed by Ranjeet Kumar.

“ Kushti is a film based on wrestling. It is a very good love story. It takes the audiences in a very good environment”, said the actor about the film.

About the character that he plays in the film, Rajpal said, “I play the role of a postmaster in the film.” Rajpal says working with the mighty Khali was not scary. “I was never scared of him. Working with Khali was very good. He is a very humble guy.”

The film also has Nargis and Asrani in vital roles. Rajpal will also be seen in a triple role in the film Haste Haste- Follow Your Heart
