After enduring a low phase and indulging in substance abuse to combat stress over the custody of her children, Britney Spears has now headed off for a vacation. And accompanying the actress is none other than the Australian actor Mel Gibson who has had his fair share of controversial statements in the media.

The duo boarded a flight from California’s ‘Bob Hope Airport’ to fly to Costa Rica and apparently will stay at Gibson’s home in the city. Two months back, the duo had made news when they were spotted having dinner together at a Russian restaurant in Studio City. In fact, Britney and Mel were neighbours back in Malibu and their holiday to Costa Rica is said to a short relaxation trip.
