Bollywood Star Priyanka Chopra launced Spice Telecom’s new service, Spice Local Lingo, at an event held in Bangalore. The new service will allowsusers to send SMS in 12 Indian languages. The service offers the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marati, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. While in Mumbai, Spice Telecom (Punjab) launched “Spice TV”, which will give Spice subscribers in Punjab an opportunity to watch live Cricket on their mobiles.
