Jessica Simpson, 26, and John Mayer, 29, reportedly met up this morning as he was spotted leaving her hotel (The Soho Grand) at 12PM today. 

A pal of Jessica’s confirms to In Touch, “They definitely went on a date last night. She still loves him, but he’s not stable. He’s scared of commitment. He breaks up with her and then regrets it and then begs her to get back together.”

Yea I doubt that, I think this was just a booty call!

Jessica Simpson hinted that her romance with sports star Tony Romo was coming to an end in a new interview with America’s Glamour magazine.

Despite her denials, insiders insist the couple has separated, and Dallas Cowboys star Romo has been telling his pals he’s no longer dating the singer.

And it appears Simpson saw the end of the high-profile relationship coming when she was interviewed for Glamour in March (08).

She tells the publication, “This article could come out and Tony and I could be broken up”.

And the rumours of a split have swelled after Romo was spotted partying with a bevy of beauties at a Chicago, Illinois bar at the weekend (10May08), while Simpson was working in Los Angeles.

One insider at the party tells Life & Style magazine, “He was surrounded by girls. We had to restrain someone who forcibly tried to make her way to his table… He zeroed in on one blonde all night, and that blonde wasn’t Jessica Simpson”.

The reported split comes at an awkward time for Simpson - her allegedly pregnant little sister Ashlee is to wed fiancee Pete Wentz this weekend (17May08).

Despite break-up reports, Jessica Simpson brang Tony Romo as her date to Ashlee Simpson’s weekend wedding, a source tells PEOPLE.

Getting a head start, on Friday Jessica and Romo met for lunch at Katsuya in Hollywood. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, dressed casually in shorts and sneakers, arrived at the restaurant in a cab for the lunch with Simpson, who wore a sexy black short-shorts and high heels. He greeted the singer with a kiss and helped her out of her Range Rover.

The lunch date comes as Simpson’s rep denies newspaper and Internet reports that Romo and Simpson have broken up. “It’s not true,” rep Cindi Berger tells PEOPLE.

Over the last few months, Timberlake, 26, and Biel, 25, have also been spotted snowboarding with pals at the Sundance Film Festival, and Biel recently attended a barbeque at Timberlake’s L.A. home.

Will Jessica Biel bring the sexy back to superhero movies?

The actress (and girlfriend of Justin Timberlake) is “in talks” to play Wonder Woman in the movie Justice League of America, Daily Variety reported Tuesday.

If Biel, 25, dons Lynda Carter’s super-bustier with gold lariat from the ’70s TV show, she would join an ensemble cast of caped crusaders Superman, Batman, Aquaman and the Flash. No other actors have been named for those parts.

Biel is currently filming Powder Blue with Forest Whitaker. Her rep declined to comment

Jessica Alba has just learned she’s set to join Jennifer Lopez and become a first-time mum to twins.

The sexy Latina is the latest Hollywood star set to join the current twins trend, which was kicked off by Julia Roberts and Marcia Cross and now reportedly includes Angelina Jolie too.

Alba is so excited about the news, she has been letting all her friends know - and one source has blurted the baby exclusive out to US tabloid National Enquirer, along with the due date, June 8.

One friend tells the publication: “Knowing that she’s going to have twins has turned Jessica’s life upside down. She and (fiancé) Cash have had to scrap plans for a one-baby nursery and start all over again.”

Although the couple know they’re set to become parents to twins, they have no idea about the sex of their babies.

The source adds: “They’re not sure whether they want to know the sex of the babies now or wait to be surprised.”

Mom-to-be Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have gotten married, PEOPLE confirms.

The couple quietly wed Monday, says her rep, Brad Cafarelli.

According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.

“She looked happy but nervous,” the source says.

Warren, in a white shirt and brown pants, arrived with Alba at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, applied for a marriage license and waited about 40 minutes for the paperwork to be processed before a staff member from the courthouse married them, the source says.

Nobody else attended the wedding, the source adds.

Alba, 27, is expecting a daughter with Warren, 31, this summer. The couple met while filming Fantastic Four and were engaged last December.

After confirming her pregnancy, Alba said she’s been in “frantic nesting mode,” taking time off from acting to get the house ready for the baby.

One celeb gets out of rehab, another goes in. On the heels of Britney Spears’ release from the Promises clinic, Hollywood hunk Jesse Metcalfe checked himself in to an undisclosed rehab center for alcohol abuse this week, a rep for the star confirmed. This decision was made Monday, the day before the story of Metcalfe’s weekend-long binge at the Mondrian hotel in L.A., where sources reported he looked like he hadn’t slept in days and was acting “very angry” and “out of control.”

The name of the rehab center was not disclosed.

Actor Jason Biggs has secretly got married.

The ‘American Pie’ star tied the knot with actress fiancee Jenny Mollen in a secret Los Angeles ceremony last Wednesday.

The pair wed away from family and friends because they didn’t want a big ceremony with lots of guests.

A source revealed to America’s Star magazine: “Jason and Jenny agreed that they did not want to deal with the whole family thing because it would have been too stressful on both of them.

“They thought it would be a lot more relaxing to do it just the two of them with no pressure. It was a very private wedding and that is exactly how they wanted it.

“Maybe one day later they will have the whole white dress and flowers major celebration, but not now. They just want this to be an intimate event between the two of them.”

The couple later celebrated by having dinner with a small group of friends, before jetting off on honeymoon to Hawaii two days later.

Jenny McCarthy vividly remembers the harrowing realization three years ago that her son Evan, now 5, was autistic.

“It started with hand flapping,” McCarthy, 34, told Oprah Winfrey on Tuesday’s show. There were other telltale indications in her child’s behavior, but as McCarthy said, “You only look for the good signs.”

Then came the day when Evan suffered a seizure, which doctors – once she got him to the hospital – blamed on a fever. Three weeks later, however, Evan got “a stoned look on his face” while McCarthy and the boy were visiting her parents.

This was another seizure, she thought, “but this one is different. He’s not convulsing.” Instead, “foam was coming out of his mouth, (and) and after a few minutes, I felt his heart stop,” she said.

When the paramedics arrived, she told them about Evan’s heart. “They looked at me like I was crazy. I don’t know why,” she said. Only, as they discovered for themselves, the child’s heart was no longer beating, so they administered CPR.

“Why, God? Why me … Why? Why? Why?” McCarthy recalled thinking in those desperate moments, but then, she said, an inner voice came over her. “Everything’s going to come out okay.”
