Kareena Kapoor has left no stone unturned to impress her beau, Saif’s family (Amrita Singh excluded…lol). The lady seems to bond very well with the man’s parents last week, when she was visiting Saif in London. The insiders say that the actress was extremely warm and sweet to the oldies and did everything to impress them. Even Saif agrees to the fact that his lady has impressed his family by quoting:

“It’s true. My parents met Kareena here in London and they really got along well. My parents completely adore her, and not because they respect the space she occupies! Oh no! If they disapproved of her they’d certainly make their displeasure clear.”

Looks like its another great Bahu Rani of the bollywood in making….

Rakhi Sawant, who has found herself a place in the television world as a host, has left the bollywood ace Aamir Khan highly impressed. The lady had recently sent Aamir a hand written invitation, inviting him to her talk show. The actor agreed and was flattered when the item queen told him that she beleived his prescence on her show would make her show a hit, as his presence in any movie makes the movies go hit!!! Aamir was surely left impressed with the girl’s personality and praises.
Well, who could do it better than Rakhi??

Shilpa Shetty recently added another honour to her list by receiveng the Global Cultural Diversity Award in London. Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton was another celeb to receive this award. Shilpa was overwhelmed to receive such and honour and flew to London to receive the award and then back to Goa to shoot for Sunny Paaji’s “The Man”.

“It’s given to people from different parts of the world who’ve made a difference to global cultural dynamics. It felt…disorienting,” explained Shilpa moved by the gesture.

After being loyal for quite a while, to his favourite star, SRK, Aziz Mirza has now changed his taste. The man now has a new fav: Shahid Kapoor. Aziz Mirza has shot many movies with the badshah of which Raju Ban Gaya Gentle Man, Chalte Chalte, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani…etc are some of the commendable ones. But his latest film “Kismet Konnection” involves the new chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor.

“Shah Rukh is too old for the role in Kismat Konnection . The role is about the life of a 26-year-old and Shah Rukh is 40 plus. It doesn’t suit him,” said Aziz Mirza.

Too bad to see our Shahrukh getting old….finally…:(

Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt, recently escaped from what could be a huge accident. Akki and Sanjay, were shooting for his new flick “Blue” in Bahamas where the scene required a ship to be blasted while Akki and Sanjay Dutt were around 50 feet under water along with the camera man. Though all the possible care was take so that everything goes well, the control was lost while blasting the ship. The whole scene paniked all the crew members, But thanks to the cameraman’s prescence of mind, the actors were brought all safe to the shore. Akki and Sanjay, both were quite thankfull to God and the cameraman after they were brought out safely.
Now that’s called: “Baal Baal Bache!!!”

Vidya Balan has now, found a female friend(for a change, considering the fact that all her friends in bollywood are her male co-stars with whome she has been linked up many times). But Then, this female is no co-actress of hers, but is the queen of moolah and publicity, Rakhi Sawant. Vidya recently, had attended Rakhi Sawant’s talk show, and ended up striking a great friendship with the lady!!

“I really like Rakhi for the way she has made a place for herself. No one else is quite like her. She has marketed herself as an extremely unique entity. I think it’s truly admirable,” were some words of praise for Rakhi from Vidya.

Now, in a world of cat fights, it’s good to hear people being friends.

It might be quite obvious for us to take a leave when we don’t feel good, our hardworking bollywood stars don’t follow the same regime. The B world actors, infact, are addicted to their work. Come what may, but our stars shoot shoot and shoot till they drop down. First it was only King Khan, but now, stars like Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham have joined the race too…

Amir’s new film, which has been in news after he was found sporting the new hairstyle, has finally earned itself a release date. The much awaited movie, Ghajini which also stars Jiah Khan along with ace Aamir Khan has announced it’s release date to be 28th November. The movie is a remake from the Tollywood (South Indian cinema).

Neetu Singh, mother of the bollywood’s latest hottie, Ranbir Kapoor turns 50 today. And this occasion proved to be quite emotional for sonny dearest. While speaking to English daily, Ranbir said

“I guess all sons believe their mothers are the best. But look at my mom at 50! Unlike many women who tend to stop caring about their appearance after a certain age, she really looks after herself to this day. She leads a strictly disciplined life. And it shows. I know nobody in or outside the industry who feels unkindly about her.”

Well…. with charm like that, ur mom will surely remain the prettiest lady Ranbir!!!(sorry Deepika!)

July 8th saw the music launch of the first ever hindi movie dedicated solely to music. Farhan Akhtar’s Rock On’s music was released at a mall in Andheri with a huge and grand musical show by the music maestros, Shankar-Ehsan-Loy. The audience was turned totally in a rocking mood with the show on the theme of a rock show. Rock will be hitting theatres this August, and stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai.
We surely await the movie to rock the box office.

Hindi flick “Yes Boss”, which starred the hit couple SRK and Juhi Chawla, is to be remade in Tamil. The movie is to be remade by the Tamil star, R. Madhavan. The movie proved to be a hit in bollywood back in 1997 and so inspired Madhavan to recreate the magic inTamil, considering the fact that his hindi flicks don’t really do very well.

Vidya ko gussa kyun aata hai?? Well….kyunki, Vidya hates to be compared to Bebo. While the character Vidya plays in Kismet Konnection has a resemblance with Kareena Kapoor’s character of Geet in Jab we Met, Vidya seriously hates it when people try mentioning this similariy to her.

“You may have found similarities in our characters but I have played it quite in a different way. Priya is much different from Geet and they cannot be compared,” says Vidya teying very hard not to lose her temper.

Okay Okay girl… We wouldn’t compare u with Kareena… Gawd….u scared us!!!

Dusky actress Nandita Das, has now decided to advance to another field. She is now going to become a director with her directorial debut, “Firaaq”. The film will star all the ace actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Suri and Tisca Chopra.

“The film is an ensemble of five stories. It deals with emotions, relationships, reaction and helplessness in such times,” said Nandita, speaking about her film.

With a star cast like that, looks like it’s a wonderfull movie in making.
